The combined love of math and people makes the insurance industry the perfect fit for Michelle Stevenson.
The native San Franciscan began her insurance career 23 years ago after graduation from UC Davis. She began as a commercial lines typist in a large nationwide insurance brokerage, and worked her way up to Account Management responsibilities in small specialized independent agencies and large brokerages.
Michelle’s area of expertise is in the negotiation, placement and servicing of Directors’ & Officers’ Liability and Employment Practices Liability coverage for private and public companies. She joined Barbary Insurance in 2010, and has expanded her client base to include property owners, entrepreneurs and Non-profit organizations.
Michelle is passionate about the fundamental right to a quality public education for all, and is active in various organizations supporting public schools. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Pacifica School Volunteers.
